THE TABLE

Wine experiences designed around people, not bottles.

The best bottles are rarely remembered in isolation. They're remembered because of the people they're shared with, the conversations they inspire and the moments they become part of. Whether it's an intimate dinner, a masterclass or a visit to the vineyards, every experience is designed to spark conversation, create memories and bring people together.

Tastings & dinners

A considered calendar of masterclasses, producer dinners and seasonal events, built around great bottles and good company.

The Table brings together a small program of tastings and dinners throughout the year. These may explore a particular region, producer, vintage or style, or simply provide a good reason to open a group of bottles that deserve to be shared.

Some events are relaxed introductions; others offer a more detailed look at the wines and the people behind them. Whenever possible, producers, winemakers and other guests from the wine world will be invited to join the table and share their own perspective.

Events are deliberately limited in size, allowing everyone to taste properly, ask questions and enjoy the evening without unnecessary formality.

Private events

Private events

Bespoke tastings, dinners and celebrations, built around your guests, your occasion and your wines.

A private event can be designed around almost any brief: a relaxed tasting at home, a birthday or anniversary dinner, an evening for clients, a comparative masterclass or an excuse to bring together friends around a particularly interesting group of bottles. I’ll shape the theme, wines and level of detail around the people attending. Some groups want to learn; others simply want an enjoyable evening with enough guidance to make the wines more meaningful. Most want a little of both.

Depending on the occasion, I can help with wine selection and sourcing, tasting notes, food-pairing ideas, glassware guidance and hosting. I can work with your own bottles, source the wines for you or combine the two.

The result should feel personal to the occasion rather than like a standard tasting reproduced for a different audience.

Trips

Small-group visits to the vineyards and producers I know personally, bringing you closer to the people and places behind the wines you love.

The most memorable wine trips are rarely those that attempt to visit the greatest number of estates. They leave time to walk through the vineyards, ask questions, meet the people making the wines and sit down properly around a table.

Trips through The Table are intimate, carefully paced and shaped around producers and regions that I know and genuinely want to share. They range from a focused day of private visits to a longer experience combining wine, food and exceptional hospitality.

Rather than offering a fixed catalogue of tours, each trip is developed individually or released in small numbers when the right opportunity arises. This allows the visits to remain personal and avoids turning the experience into a checklist of famous names.

Bring something

Bring something special to the table

The setting may be a private home, a college dining room, a favourite restaurant or a vineyard several hundred miles away. What matters is creating an experience that suits the people taking part.

Tell me who the occasion is for, what you would like it to feel like and whether you already have particular wines in mind. We can build the rest from there.
