Disznókő Late Harvest 2021 (50cl)

Some places leave as much of an impression as the wines themselves.

Visiting Disznókő was one of the highlights of my trip to Tokaj. The tour was superb, but the moment I'll never forget was tasting my very first Eszencia - the 2012 - served from an elegant glass dragonfly spoon. Seeing the estate's Eszencia library was equally fascinating, and I've since enjoyed revisiting the wines during an AXA Millésimes dinner with Oxford University's Bacchus Wine Society.

The Late Harvest 2021 captures everything I love about Tokaj: ripe apricot, peach and blossom aromas balanced by bright acidity that keeps every sip fresh and effortless. Sweet, vibrant and beautifully balanced, it's a wonderful introduction to one of the world's great wine regions.
