Some recommendations are easier to make than others.
Visiting Bollinger as part of the Champagne Academy was a real privilege and gave me an even greater appreciation for one of Champagne's most respected houses. Of all their wines, however, it's the rosé that I find myself returning to time and again.
Unlike many rosé Champagnes that lean heavily on freshness and delicacy, Bollinger's has real substance. Generous red berry fruit, hints of spice and brioche, and the richness that comes from the house's signature style make it wonderfully satisfying, while still retaining the freshness you'd expect from a great Champagne.
It's probably the rosé Champagne I've recommended more often than any other - and with good reason.
